Curriculum Content

The program includes a series of modules with the following lecture topics associated with each:

Overview/Introduction to safeguarding in sport
Putting safeguards in place – international human rights conventions, statutory and sport legal and policy frameworks
Key building blocks to prevent non-accidental violence
Prevention: Developing an organisational safeguarding policy, procedures, and structures for responding to safeguarding concerns
