Liz has been a sports dietitian for over 25 years, launching her career at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in 1994. She has worked with a wide range of sports in Australia, Scotland and the USA, from development through to both professional and elite athletes as sports dietitian, sport scientist and team manager. Liz is also a Level 3 ISAK anthropometrist and has lectured at various universities in sports nutrition and biochemistry of exercise. In addition to her own Masters and PhD studies, Liz has been involved in a number of research projects and has authored a number of peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, including editing the 1st and 2nd editions of “Sports Nutrition for Paralympic Athletes”. Liz has worked at 2 Olympic games (Sydney and Beijing with canoe/kayak), and 4 Paralympic Games (London with Team Australia, Sochi, Rio and PyeongChang with Team USA). Liz has spent the last 10 years specializing in Paralympic athletes both in Australia and the USA.
