Clare is a physiotherapist and health researcher, appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at The University of British Columbia. She leads two programmes of research: (1) the DigiMSK team, whose work brings researchers, patients, clinicians, designers and policy-makers together to re-imagine musculoskeletal health care services, and (2) the VaMPIRE team, whose work focuses on improving equity in how research is assessed and funded. Since 2018, Clare has served as Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT). She hosts the weekly JOSPT Insights podcast, which is downloaded over 35 000 times each month.
