Dr Mark Stuart is the pharmacist to the International Olympic Committee Health, Medicine and Science Commission Medical Expert Group, and Honorary Associate Professor at University College London (UCL) Division of Medicine. He is a registered pharmacist and holds a PhD in sports pharmacology from UCL. Mark is currently the Drugs, Health and Operations Development Senior Manager for the International Testing Agency in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is also a member of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List Expert Group, Chair of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) Medical and Anti-Doping Commission, Member of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) Medical Commission, and co-author of the Olympic and Paralympic Model Formulary. Mark led the Pharmacy Services for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and has worked in pharmacy and anti-doping roles for Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Turin 2006, Beijing 2008, Sochi 2014, Rio 2016, PyeongChang 2018, Tokyo 2020, Beijing 2022, Paris 2024 and Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic Summer and Winter Games, Manchester 2002, Melbourne 2006, Glasgow 2014, Gold Coast 2018 and Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Baku 2015, Minsk 2019 and Krakow 2023 European Games, and London 2017 World Athletics Championships.
