Dr. Danielle Adams Norenberg is an HCPC registered applied sport psychologist based in the UK and has been providing sports psychology support to high-performance athletes, teams, and sports for over 10 years. She is currently the Head of Psychology at the UK Sports Institute, overseeing the delivery of over 20 sport psychologists working across Olympic and Paralympic NGBs. Danielle completed a BSc in sport sciences at NMUS, a MSc in Sport Psychology at The University of Edinburgh, and PhD at Brunel University. Danielle has successfully supported athletes and staff to deliver at Olympic, Paralympic, World Championships, and Commonwealth Games with specific Sport Psychology Games provisions at Paris 2024, Tokyo 2020 and Rio 2016. She has also worked at the UKSI’s Intensive Rehabilitation Unit, which delivers Performance Rehabilitation in conjunction with Team GB. Danielle is also an ex-international swimmer.
