Claire has developed a specialist focus in Sports Pharmacy, underpinned by extensive training and hands-on experience at global sporting events including the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and Professional Golf tournaments. Her contributions to this field are reflected in my involvement with the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) report on Sports Pharmacy—a global reference for pharmacists supporting athletes and sporting organisations—and as a member of the United States Sports Pharmacy Group (USSPG) Taskforce responsible for defining the scope and standards of Sports Pharmacy practice internationally. As an academic and educator, Claire has spent over a decade mentoring and guiding thousands of student pharmacists, helping them navigate their career paths with confidence.
