My own sporting background
I participated in competitive swimming and throughout my post secondary education I was a lifeguard and swim instructor. I am physically active with triathlon; Olympic and Sprint distances and completed my first half marathon in April 2009. I enjoy other outdoor sports such as hiking, camping, cross country skate skiing and snowboarding. I also like yoga and group fitness classes such as spin and weights.
My favourite sporting moment or heroes
I am a huge supporter and fan of my husband, an avid triathlete, who has competed in the World championships for both Ironman and long distance triathlon this past year.
My favourite foods
I love food and eating and that is one of the reasons I became a Dietitian; my top 4 foods are: chocolate, spaghetti, sushi and broccoli.
