I consider sport nutrition as part of clinical nutrition science. I was among the founders of Slovenian Society for clinical nutrition and I would like to contribute to the development of the basics of understanding that nutrition should be adapted to peo
My own sporting background
In my young age I was just an occasional runner but after a pretty big accident at the age of 29 I had a very long rehabilitation and I started to exercise regularly. In last years I did 15 Ironman triathlons including two times Hawaii Ironman.
My favourite sporting moment or heroes
I just enjoy to exercise. I was handicapped and I spent the most of my time working with cancer patients. So I appreciate even more the privilege to be healthy and have possibility to exercise.

Fish, bread, muesli.

My first priority is my family. My daughter (12) is swimmer and my husband Pavel Kozjek, is an alpine climber. He was first Slovenian who reached the top of Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen. This year he climbed the new route to the summit of Cho
